Bala James Ngilari has promised to give all the necessary support and
cooperation to the members of the state house of assembly.
The
Governor gave the assurance, when the new leadership of the House led by its
speaker, Jerry Kumdisi paid him a courtesy call at the government house Yola.
Governor
Nggilari described the relationship between the executive and the legislature
as cordial, stressing that the executive and the legislature will work together
for the benefit and development of the people of Adamawa.
He
then congratulated the new executives on their emergence.
Earlier
the new speaker of the house, Jerry Kumdisi told the governor that they were at
the government house to congratulate the governor as the governor of Adamawa
state and to inform him of the recent change of leadership in the house.
He
also assured Governor Bala Nggilari of total loyalty of all members of the house
in order to move the state forward.
The
speaker later introduced the new leadership of the house with Jerry Kumdisi as
new speaker, Umar Abdulkari as Deputy Speaker, Salihu Kabilo as majority
leader, Hamman Tukur Yettisuri as deputy
majority leader, Wale Fwah is Chief Whip while Simon Isa is Deputy Chief Whip.
This
is coming when the Fintiri's led faction has suspended five of the disloyal
members of been criminal minded, as the two speakers in power tussles had their
separate sittings at the state house of assembly complex and the government
house respectively.
The
chairman of the investigative committee, Hon Wilbina Jackson presented report
of her committee suggesting to the House to suspend the five detailing members
for three months of been disloyal to Fintiri's led faction.
Those
suspended are Hon Jerry Kundisi, Hamman Tukur, Wale Fwa, Umar Abdulkadir and
Simon Isah.
The
calling on the all security agencies to stop them from coming around, having
anything to deal or activities that has to do with the state Assembly
